Kunlé Oyedeji is a highly respected and experienced charity leader, mental health advocate and multi award-winning social entrepreneur with over 20 years of dedicated service to some of the UK’s most vulnerable communities. Passionate about transformation and empowerment, Kunlé is best known as the Chief Executive of both The Cornerstone and The Empowerment Group, two organisations working at the heart of social change in the United Kingdom.

A dynamic and visionary leader, Kunlé has developed and overseen a wide range of impactful community programmes, addressing pressing social issues including mental health, food poverty, homelessness, unemployment, youth violence, and rehabilitation of ex-offenders. Under his stewardship, The Cornerstone has grown into a hub of hope, delivering grassroots initiatives such as food banks, international aid, prison outreach, leadership development and therapeutic support services.

In 2023, Kunlé was recognised nationally for his outstanding contribution to society when he was awarded the prestigious Coronation Champions Award by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. He has also held influential positions including Clinical Care and Professional Lead for Mental Health in Southwark. His academic and professional qualifications span theology, psychology, counselling, HR studies and leadership development, enabling him to approach social issues with both rigour and empathy.
